String Beans with Mustard

INGREDIENTS

6-8 oz. Green Beans, halved &/or trimmed (optional, I don’t!)

1 Tbsp butter

1 Tbsp stone ground (or dijon) mustard

1 Tbsp fresh thyme (or other fresh herb)

Coarse salt

Fresh ground pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place rinsed beans in microwave-safe dish
  2. Cook for 2 minutes, stir.  Cook for 1.5 minutes more, stir.
  3. While steaming hot, stir in butter, mustard, herbs, salt, pepper
  4. Serve immediately
